Vixens Secure a Hard-Fought Win Against Tala Rockets 🏐✨
Our match against Tala Rockets, played on March 8th — International Women’s Day — was one of those games that remind us why we love this sport so much. Not because everything went perfectly, but because it didn’t.
From the very beginning, we stepped onto the court with high expectations and a clear idea of how we wanted to play. But volleyball has its own rhythm, and sometimes things don’t unfold the way we plan. Our performance wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for, and we felt that throughout different moments of the match.
Still, what truly defines a team isn’t just how they play when everything is working — it’s how they respond when it isn’t.
Point after point, we kept pushing. We supported each other, stayed connected, and refused to let the game slip away. There were ups and downs, adjustments to be made, and lessons happening in real time. And even in the middle of that, we found a way to stay together and keep fighting.
Walking away with the win was important, of course, but what matters even more is what this game gave us beyond the score.
Matches like this are part of the journey. They challenge us, expose where we can grow, and build resilience as a team. They remind us that progress isn’t always linear, and that every tough game carries something valuable if we’re willing to learn from it.
Playing on International Women’s Day made it even more special, a reminder of the strength, unity, and power of women supporting women, on and off the court.
We’re proud of the way we stayed united until the final point. Proud of the effort, the mindset, and the energy we brought when it mattered most.
Now, it’s time to take those lessons, keep working, and keep evolving — together.
Because every game is a step forward.
On to the next challenge, Vixins. 💗🔥
